VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2012, Preparations are underway for VBS 2012: SonQuest Rainforest. We will explore five great parables with the children, beginning on Sunday, July 22nd at 6 PM. On Monday through Thursday evenings, dinner will be provided for the children and volunteers at 5:30. Registration forms will be available in the lobby in June and July, or you can register your children online via the church website beginning May 1st.

In the meantime, we will be holding weekly workdays to make preparations. The schedule is still being finalized, so if you are interested in helping out, let Lenise Baxter or Karen Condon know whether a weekday morning or Tuesday or Thursday evenings are best for you. One of our main tasks will be making the decorations, so come prepared to trace and cut!

We are still in need of plenty of volunteers for VBS week- Job descriptions for available positions will be posted in the lobby soon. Please consider being a part of our team, and don't forget to include the children and volunteers in your prayers.

Ignite Retreat at Lake Singletary, We will end the summer with a week at the lake! We will spend the days hanging out on the lake, and the evenings worshipping God through prayer, music, and study. On Sunday the youth will leave the church and head to Lake Singletary. The youth will return on Thursday, and kids (2nd through 5th grade) will be picked up and taken to the camp for the remainder of the week. We will return the following Saturday afternoon.
