Vision of Mission Ministry Team
As Christ called us to go into all the world, Mebane Presbyterian Church support the mission to take the Gospel to the world.
We will be a strong mission-minded church through our active and generous support of missionaries and outreach programs locally and around the world.
Missions Team Responsibilities for Missionaries
The congregation will be educated about the missionaries we support. Where are they, and why are they there? Missions will achieve this goal by use of newsletter, monthly mission themes, World Map bulletin board, in Sunday schools, and teaching and preaching when our missionaries visit. Missions Team will maintain contact with our missionaries by e-mailing support, sending birthday cards, and having celebrations when they visit our church.
Missions Team Responsibilities for National, State, and Local Missions
We will continue to participate in many worthwhile national, state, and local projects that are so vital to the life of the church and community. Several of our church members are personally involved in many of these activities. Our team will discern to the best of our ability the integrity of each mission that is supported by MPC.
