Mebane Presbyterian Church is simply a group of people who are on a journey together toward God. They believe that the Bible points the way, telling us that Jesus is still alive and is active in people’s lives today to help, heal, forgive sins, and generally make our lives better.

“Jesus, I’ve heard that you are still alive and are active in people’s lives today. I’ve heard that you still help, heal, forgive sins, and generally make people’s lives better. I would like a better life. I could use some help; I need more hope; I need a guide. I’ve heard that this “better life” is available, mysteriously, by simply asking you to come into one’s life. While I’m not sure exactly what it all means, I ask you to be a part of my life and to forgive me all of my short-comings and mistakes. Please show me the way; guide me to someone who knows more about this kind of life than I know, and help me to trust in you. Amen.”
